Principal Administrative Officer

Md. Fakhrul Alam is the Principal Administrative Officer at the Institute of Health Economics since August 1999. He holds a Master of Social Science (MSS) in Public Administration and Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) degrees from University of Dhaka, DHMS(Dhaka) and L.LB from National University. He oversees the administrative support to the Director of the Institute during key meetings that includes Academic Committee, Coordination and Development Committee, Board of Governors, Academic Board, Purchase Committee. He has overall responsisbilty for dealing with employment files of faculty members and support staff at the Institute. Mr Alam is responsible for processing post-gradute course applications and responding to all queries about M.Phil, Ph.D courses of IHE. He is the administrative coordinator for 4th year students in the Honours program at the Institute. He is also in charge of corresponding to queries about the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and takes care of the applications received.
