Israt Tahira Sheba

Lecturer

Israt Tahira Sheba completed her BSS (Hons.) in Health Economics and MSS in Health Economics from University of Dhaka (2011-2015). She was conferred ‘Director’s Award’ from the Institute of Health Economics for academic excellence at master’s level in 2016. She has been working as a Lecturer at the Institute of Health Economics (IHE), University of Dhaka from November 2016. Her research interest includes economics of health and health care, economic evaluation, non-communicable diseases and health care financing. Complementing her service area, she has worked with national and international organizations in Bangladesh and been involved in ample of studies covering impact evaluation, health system strengthening and alternative health care financing model.
