K.M. Nafiz Iftekhar Tulon

Assistant Professor

K.M Nafiz Ifteakhar is an Assistant Professor in Institute of Health Economics, University of Dhaka. He obtained his Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the Department of Economics, University of Dhaka with outstanding academic record. He started his career as Research Associate at South Asian Network on Economic Modeling (SANEM) in August, 2011. He joined the Institute of Health Economics as a lecturer in March 2013. Later he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in November 2016.

  • Worked  as  Resource Person in  a training-workshop on ‘Implementation Agreement for  Providing  the  Technical  Support  to  the  DIFE (Department of Inspection for Factories and Establishment)  to  Establish  an  Annual  Inspection  Reporting  System’. The assignment was funded by ILO and commissioned by SANEM. The  overall  objective  of  the  assignment  was  to  provide  technical  and  mentorship  support  to  the  DIFE  to  establish  an annual reporting  system of the labor and working conditions inspection.

 

  • Worked  as  Resource Person in  a 10-day training-workshop on ‘National Transfer Account’ for government Officials. The assignment was funded by UNFPA. It was jointly commissioned by the General Economic Division, Planning Commission and SANEM.
