Md. Harun Ur Rashid Gazi

Research Student

Harun achieved his post-graduation degree in Public Health from the National Institute of Preventive and Social Medicine under the University of Dhaka. He also completed BSc in Nursing from the College of Nursing Dhaka, under the University of Dhaka after passing a Diploma in Nursing from Nursing Training Institute, Sir Salimullha Medical College, and a Diploma in orthopedic nursing from the National Institute of Traumatology & Orthopedic rehabilitation(NITOR). Now he is working as an Associate Professor at the Department of Graduate Nursing, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, in Dhaka, Bangladesh. He Completed the Capacity Building Program for Nursing Faculty in Bangladesh from Yonsei University College of Nursing, Seoul, Korea, where he completed Faculty Development for Simulation-Based Nursing Education 2015. He got the Best Participant Award presented by the Yonsei University College of Nursing, Seoul, Korea on 7th February 2015. He participated in the International Conference on Transcultural Nursing organized by Manipal University, India 2011, 16th International Nursing Research Conference, Spain 2012, and 6th International Congress on Emergency and Trauma Nursing, London, UK April 2019. From March 2020 he is undertaking the MPhil program of Institute of Health Economics, the University of Dhaka on “Parental Feeding Knowledge, Attitude and Practices Related to Early Childhood Growth and Development” under the supervision of Professor Dr. Nasrin Sultana, Director, Institute of Health Economics, University of Dhaka. Two of his articles have been published: “Nurses Roles inpatient care in tertiary level in Bangladesh, Bangladesh Medical Research Council Bulletin (Vol 44, No 03 2018) and “Nurses’ Knowledge on Childhood Autism at Selected Hospitals in Bangladesh.
