MSS in Health Economics

The MSS in Health Economics is a one-year postgraduate programme divided into two semesters. The degree requires the completion of 10 courses totalling 40 credit hours, including coursework in Advanced Health Economics, Health Sector Reform, Health Policy and Planning, Economic Evaluation, Public Health and Epidemiology. As part of degree requirements, students must also complete a dissertation or project, allowing them to apply economic and analytical tools to real-world health-sector issues. The MSS programme further strengthens students’ quantitative, research, and policy analysis skills, preparing graduates for careers in research institutions, government agencies, NGOs, international development organizations, health-financing bodies, academic roles, and for advanced research degrees such as the M.Phil. and Ph.D.
